How to remove the bearings of the vibrating screen

Improper disassembly of the vibrating screen bearing may cause internal damage to the bearing. Contaminants may enter the bearings or errors may occur during reinstallation. Therefore, you must be very careful when disassembling the vibrating screen bearings, and the axis must be properly supported, otherwise the disassembly force may damage the bearings.

1. Peripheral disassembly

To disassemble the outer ring with interference fit, set several outer ring extrusion screw screws on the circumference of the shell in advance, and tighten the screws evenly on one side. While disassembling. These screw holes are usually covered with blind plugs, separable bearings such as vibrating screen tapered roller bearings, etc., set several cuts on the housing shoulder, use spacers, use a press to disassemble, or gently tap to disassemble.

2. Disassembly of the cylindrical hole bearing of the vibrating screen

The disassembly of the inner ring can be easily done by using a pressure machine to pull it out. At this time, attention should be paid to allowing the inner ring to withstand its pulling force.

The inner ring of large vibrating screen bearings is disassembled using the hydraulic method. Oil pressure is applied through the oil hole provided on the shaft to make it easy to pull out. For large-width bearings, the hydraulic method and the drawing fixture are used together for disassembly.

Induction heating can be used to disassemble the inner ring of NU type and NJ type cylindrical roller vibrating screen bearings. This is a method of heating a local area in a short period of time to expand the inner ring and then drawing it.

3. Disassembly of tapered bore bearings

To disassemble a relatively small bearing with an adapter sleeve, use a block fastened to the shaft to support the inner ring. After turning the nut back a few times, use a spacer block and hammer to disassemble it.

Four methods for disassembling rolling bearings

1. Push method

Use a press to push the bearings, which works smoothly and reliably without damaging the machine and the bearing shielding machine room. The press can be pushed manually, mechanically or hydraulically.

Things to note: The pressing point of the press should be on the center of the shaft, and no deviation should be allowed.

2. Percussion method

The knocking force is generally applied to the inner ring of the bearing. The knocking force should not be applied to the rolling elements and cage of the bearing. This method is simple and easy, but it can easily damage the bearing. When the bearing is located at the end of the shaft, use a smaller force than the bearing. A copper rod or other soft metal material with an inner diameter is placed against the shaft end. A pad is added to the lower part of the bearing and can be removed by gently tapping it with a hand hammer. When using this method, attention should be paid to the appropriate placement of the pads and the correct focus point.

3. Pull out method

Using a special puller, when disassembling, just rotate the handle and the bearing will be slowly pulled out. When disassembling the outer ring of the bearing, the corners of the two legs of the puller should be opened outward; when disassembling the inner ring of the bearing, the two legs of the puller should be inward and stuck on the end face of the inner ring of the bearing.

Things to note:

1. The hook of the puller should be hooked on the inner ring of the bearing, rather than on the outer ring, to avoid excessive loosening or damage of the bearing;

2. When using the puller, make sure the screw rod is aligned with the center hole of the shaft and must not be skewed. You should also pay attention to the stress on the retractor hook and the bearing, and do not damage the retractor hook and bearing;

3. Pay attention to preventing the hook from slipping;

4. The bending angle of the two legs of the puller is less than 90°.

4. Hot disassembly method

For disassembling tight-fitting bearings. First, use an oil can to pour engine oil heated to about 100°C onto the bearing to be disassembled. After the bearing ring expands due to heat, you can use a puller to pull out the bearing.

Things to note:

1. First, the pulling tool should be installed on the bearing to be removed and a certain pulling force should be applied;

2. Before heating, wrap the shaft with asbestos rope or thin iron plate to prevent the shaft from expanding due to heat, otherwise it will be difficult to disassemble. When disassembling the bearing from the bearing box hole, you can only heat the bearing box hole, not the bearing box hole. bearings;

3. When pouring oil, in the shielded machine room, the oil pot should be poured steadily on the bearing ring or rolling element, and an oil basin should be placed below it to collect the hot oil flowing down to avoid waste and burns;

4. Operators should wear asbestos gloves to prevent burns.
